Farm Experience
The ultimate, interactive experience
From the moment you arrive we want you to feel a part of our family and farm life. We are passionate about our farm and the lifestyle we live, and enjoy sharing the experience with our guests. Our aim is to be as sustainably self-sufficient as possible, and we get great satisfaction from growing our own organic food and living off the land. Some of our practices are from the bygone days of our grandparents generation, and while staying with us we encourage you to join in the daily farm activities to experience life on a farm.
Farm Activities:
Farm activities are a personalised experience that suits you and your family, so you can choose to do all activities or just some of them. Starting at 8 am and finishing at approximately 10.30 am, it is a fantastic way to start the day experiencing life on a farm. Book the activities in the Special Request box on the booking page with your accommodation. The activities are usually booked for the morning after your check in date. The farm activities are free and only available to guests staying in our accommodation. Only one farm experience per booking.
Activities are available from 1st October 2023 to May 31st 2024
Activities include:
Milking the cows and separating the cream from the milk
Churning butter and cooking damper
Feeding the friendly farm animals
Morning tea of billy tea and damper
Collecting the eggs from the chickens
